- All pants (boys and girls) must be worn at the natural waistline with no undergarments visible.
- All shirts must be tucked in at the natural waistline and not balloon out over the waist.
- Hats, hoods, headscarves, bandanas, do-rags, sunglasses, etc... are not allowed at school and/or on the buses.
- Middle school students' uniforms are to be khaki bottoms and burgundy tops.
Daily Announcements
Bethune-Bowman Middle/High School will be a PBIS school.
What is PBIS you ask?
PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention Supports. It is a process for creating safer and more effective schools. The process focuses on improving our ability to teach and support positive behavior for all of our students at BBMHS.
Please help us in achieving our goals to make BBMHS a model PBIS school in Orangeburg Consolidated School Distirct 5.
Meet the BBMHS Faculty and Staff
The Principal's Take
The 2007-2008 school year has gotten off to a spectacular start. Our vision this year remains the same: "Excellence By Choice & Not By Chance." Throughout the building, our teachers are empowering our students to predict, discover, apply, create, and evaluate through innovative classroom, grade level and content-based initiatives, resource persons and upcoming field trips.
We are indeed a school where "Failure Is Not An Option."
Exemplary academic achievement, students active participation in new school-wide activities, ongoing student enrichment, and meaningful parental and community involvement will continue to be our major goals for the new year.
We humbly ask for all stakeholders full cooperation during this academic year as we endeavor, on a daily basis, to celebrate success: one student at a time.
